Has anyone ever see this leather seat patern and a console like this? Was this from a conversion truck or old custom aftermarket parts? And are the front Hi-Back or Adjustable headrests? I like this truck but am worried about fixing the seat bottom with Ebay seats not custom shop work. Thanks...
I have been a member for a while. My info says Feb 28, 2014 but I thought It was longer and had already done this hello a long time ago. I'm missing my 93 'Burb but need a truck. I replaced her with a 84 extra cab S10. but 2 years later my truck is too small now, kids shot up. I've been eye...
I just found this answer to my 400 dipstick side question.

I really like my truck. Its been well maintained and has a very clean interior. Plus imo it looks better than a 96-99. Also I already have the 350 in it. I was looking for affordable displacement and torque increase. I like the LS, but want to keep a stock look.
Option 1 rebuild my short block...
Yup the steam holes, was going to have done with the head work. But I'm too cheap to spend what they want for a bare rebuildable long block. 25 years ago a low mileage 400 was less than a rebuildable 305 core. Still wondering about if GM swithed sides for the dipstick. Years ago my friend did...
Thanks. I was planing on all that you said but on a 400(to save cash) over a 383 kit. But lower mileage 400 seem to hard to find and not as cheap as I remember.
Will a Chevy 400 short or long block be able to replace a 350? I used search several times and didn't see an answer. :( I want to keep all my stock 1993 k1500 under hood and front drivetrain and suspension. Arent the dipstick and/or the oil filter reversed on the 400 from the 350, 305? I know...
Mine is a heavy half, I just don't like the one wheel drive in the front. Can't tell much difference between 4hi and rwd in a stock open diff on each end, lol.
Mounting ears are they what mount it to the frame?
I was once told because of the weight and size k1500 suburbans were using the same frame as a k2500 suburban, is that true or false? Thats why I wanted to put a 9.25 ifs in so I could add a cable or electric locker up front.
Thanks for some good...
Will a front diff out of a k2500/k3500 8 lug bolt up into my 93 k1500 6 lug?
If so, can I keep the 6 lug axles brakes and other suspension parts. Or does it require an 8 lug axle and related parts?
Oh if it helps its a 93 k1500 suburban 350 4l60 stock.
