    Cheap ways to fix/look decent?

Yeah I think I'll try the heat thing first. I'm just afraid to melt the paint. I've tried a suction cup but couldn't get enough pull strength to get it out. Any idea on actual temperature? Like degrees to set it at?

    Cheap ways to fix/look decent?

I'll give it a better look tomorrow. I can sorta hide the paint with some polish and wax. So not trying to reprint either.

    Cheap ways to fix/look decent?

Well got the new door on, removed the trim and just need to get the old adhesive off. New wheel was put on, then went flat after a day, had to get a new tire, so maybe the original wheel was good. Cannot for my life find that hubcap! Called a local place and they say they have them, I just gotta...

    Cheap ways to fix/look decent?

Yeah I wrecked it unfortunately. Not in any relation to my screen name though. Got a black door and mirror today. An a wheel. Door was from a Tahoe, and has a red pinstripe haha. Will try to get at all on by this weekend. $250 for it all. I'm really not trying to put much more into it...

    Cheap ways to fix/look decent?

Well sh*t. I guess I'll have to accept this. I'll get a new(used) door and a wheel at the least. Yeah the fender paint is just scraped off, but no dents. That cab is the worst part and the hardest to fix. If I can hit a good portion of that dent out I'll be happy. Paint is...well black and...

    Cheap ways to fix/look decent?

Any ideas on cost to repaint the part between the trim and window, assuming cab corners are ok and dent is out? Looks like a door is gonna run about $150, fender for $60 (I'm assuming that's cheaper than labor to sand and repaint), and when for about $50. I have the original wheel but it's...

    Cheap ways to fix/look decent?

Well then that may not be an option to do...not sure. Plan to at least find a new wheel tomorrow Does anyone know if the quarter panel under the rear windows come off? what kind of a job is it?

    Cheap ways to fix/look decent?

Got a wrecked truck. Passenger side doesn't look too great. Drives fine and all, just had the intake manifold gasket replaced. I plan to go to a junkyard really soon (within the next week) and look for a new wheel at the least. I'm wanting to have a matching color door, so if I can find a clean...

    Manifold Gasket parts

Well I decided on paying for it to be done. Forgot to ask specifically if it's with with upgraded gaskets. $100 for parts. Will ask when i bring it in. Should it cost any more to have the upgraded gaskets put on? They're only like $60 on auto zones website...don't know the price for the original...

    Manifold Gasket parts

So is it like the TBI anyone? In the sense that each plug can only go in one place? I've been told by a couple shops that have been recommended that it would be $425-450, is that a fair price? Doesn't seem too bad, includes parts though nothing replaced except for the gaskets and heater hose...

    Manifold Gasket parts

Damn. Not sure if I still want to do this. I know it's a big job, that wiring is what's gonna be a pain

    Manifold Gasket parts

So I'm almost set on doing the intake manifold gasket replacement myself. Around $450 from local shops. Not a bad price at all it's just that I got some other stuff I need to work on too. Overall it runs fine as it is, just a slow leak. What are some other things I'll want to replace as I do...

    Well...here it goes, cheaply

I'm in school and drove the 97 chevy ECSB Z71 throughout highschool. In college now on the south coast, and didn't bring it with me, and am 7 hours away. Well I'm returning here in about a month and am home for the summer with the clear to take the truck for school :). Was originally my...

Temporarily fixed the door sag but bent the door...

Looked at the cab mount, looks okay rubber still there. Could use replacement though I've seen the mod for using the GMT900 cab mounts on the rear of the cab (extended cab). Tried a board and then I wrapped a hammer with a towel-using the claw end to try and pull the dent back out but no luck...
