    Yepp that's right I heard the same thing and they aren't as prone to getting clogged up and yeah I checked te plug today and it looked carbon fouled and I pulled another one and it was clean so I may buy a new plug and see and yes I'm sure I put everything together right.

    Yeah that's what the guy was saying too but yeah I'll just start with that and I changed my fuel filter today for the hell of it cuz I had a new one layin around and I went with the newer ones cuz I read they were more efficient compared to the origional ones

    I don't remember the code but I got it checked again today and the guy said it was a bank 1 cylinder 5 misfire and said it could be a bad fuel mixture?

    Yeah I know but that's the only other thing that I could think of it being other than plugs wire cap rotor and coil and all those are new and it can't hurt to replace it anyways but yeah it fixed the problem and my truck drives alot smoother but my check engine light is on still for some odd reason

    Thanks for the info man but I already got it done and it was pretty straight forward and I replace it because my truck was cutting out at around 60-70 mph and was getting pretty bad gas mileage. When my check engine light came on I had replaced basically everything but the injectors.

    I think I'm just going to replace em both since I'm ging to be in there anyways but it is throwing a code and I replaced everything but the injectors so that has to be it and thanks for the input 98nightmare

    C'mon guys lol but I guess I'll just replace both while I'm in there but I heard there was a mpfi upgrade is there a place I can find one for a decent price? and I'll just get the fuel pressure regulator from autozone. TIA for any help or any advice

    Hey guys my truck has been kind of sputtering and cutting out at around 60-70 mph and I have been getting pretty bad gas milage and was thinking it was an injector or the fuel pressure regulator but cant tell which. I guess what I'm asking is what are the symptoms if it is either one?
