EFI on 5.7 Vortec

V 7.5 is the software version I think, I meant to put the V2 controller, my bad.

EFI on 5.7 Vortec

Can you put EFI V 7.5 on the 5.7 Vortec, I've seen it mentioned before. I have access to the one I had on my Duramax, so if I can tune my 5.7 with that it would be awesome. Thanks, Jake

I know what you mean on that, my GMC has had the exhaust redone probably 6 times, was never quite happy with it.

I've heard a lot about the torsion bars being potentially dangerous, if I use the Tbar tools do I need to chain them or secure them in anyway?

I'm afraid mine will be like that too, its got a good bit of surface rust all over the suspension and frame, nothing damaging just enough to make things a PITA.

Rough Country lifts

I've done lifts on Fords and Dodges and a full Cognito kit on a dmax but I've never taken torsion bars out, how hard is this? And I am fairly mechanically competent.

Are the Rough Country 6in kits any count? How do they stack up with the Superlift kits? My GMC has a Superlift and I love it, but at almost twice the price I can't justify the Superlift for my Chevy. Any info is appreciated. Jake

New distributor and now dtc's but runs fine.
