I don't know what folks have against the brush guard, the one on your truck is nice and unobtrusive. As for the K&N cold air intake I have one on my '88 & it did wake the motor up. On my '95 I wanted to get one but then I noticed that the air filter housing has no hoses or other connections. I went old school hot rod and flipped the lid as a test. It made at least as much difference as the K&N did on the '88 which surprised me. True cold air would be better but this cost nothing. Both trucks have true dual exhausts and the '88 has shorty headers and an Edelbrock intake manifold.

As for wheels, those look fine to me.

Im not a fan of a brushguards, only because in my ****** state, theres no point to having one. id hawk the brush guard for some money towards the Rims you want. tool box could stay or go depending on if your using it.

Nice truck...I say remove toolbox, brushguard, and lift it at least 3" with 35's if it will clear...in my pic I have 31's with 3" lift, which are too small...33's will fit no problem

im getting rid of the brushguard in hopes it may look better. will add some tow hooks and new lights to make front cap look better. im wanting a cai and thankfully its not as expensive as it thought
