Stupid question... I searched and didn't find what I was looking for...

Can I use non power door panels in an electric window/lock truck? My stock door panels are shot and I need new ones, and the only ones I can find in the scrapyard are non power. I know I'd have to fill in the window crank hole, which is no big deal... But, any other issues? I have an 88 rcsb for reference.

Any door panel 88-94 ext cab or reg cab should mount right up no issues. If you have the 88-89 door panels they will have the squared black buttons and window/lock button housing. the 90-94 have a grey more rounded buttons and housing. All in all make sure you get the complete door panel buttons and all.

The window and lock buttons, 88-94, have 5 pins behind it. They separate easily you just have to remove the button housing from the door panel first to get them out. If you disconnect the buttons from their connectors you don't need any wires to transfer them to your truck. The black metal panel underneath is the same 88-94.

But if you do what I did, I went from 89 power windows to like 94 suburban windows if you check my build thread, I had to rewire the entire door panels. i had to change out pigtails and reroute pigtails to correctly fit in the conjoining connectors. But that's a different story.

Delayed response! Haven't forgotten.
I checked for web pix & at a couple of wreckers over the last bit. Not one stick truck had a console!
I'd mount the seats & then drop the console in, loose, & see what works the best.
Set the seats at the furthest back on the tracks. Just in case someone that's tall ever drives the truck or if you sell it. Try the console back & forth till it looks & feels right, while checking that the shifter has enough clearance while rowing the gears, plus at least a couple of additional inches if it ends up being fairly close, just to make sure.
IIRC, there's brackets of some sort that's bolted to the floor of the trucks that came with consoles, which the console screws to. Mine didn't come with, so I screwed it right to the floor from inside the console. Made sure that I wasn't going to hit any wires or other stuff underneath first, though.
Been in the truck for years. No issues with it coming loose or moving around.
Post pix when when it's in.

I would suspect that the consoles in the auto and manual transmission trucks were in the same location so that GM could use the same floor bolt patterns or brackets.

Here is a 1994 Blazer from a dealer site, maybe you can ballpark the location from the pictures.

Good luck, hope this helps.
