So i posted in the build thread location and did a very crappy job of describing everything. Just threw some pictures on there and called it a day. I am a attention ***** and found that by putting my stuff in that place on the forum means no one can comment or say anything about it. So i will put one here. Hopefully it will make more sense and I will be more able to answer questions. Thanks.

1992 Chevy c1500 Regular cab short bed with the 5.7 liter. Bought with someones poor atempt at "rolling the miles" back. They put a gauge cluster in that only had 81000 miles on it. At first i believed it until after i paid his asking price and drove it home. The odometer never moved. Hey you live and you learn right.

So the first things i did was get rid of the 15 inch super wide rims and tires. I didn't like how they poked out and every bump was always a gamble on whether or not i would cut the tire all the way thru. Plus it messed up the fender lips front and rear pretty bad. I got Riddler 695 in 20x8.5. I wrapped them in Toyo Extendsa HP 245/35R20 because i knew what i wanted to do next.

Some things i did while waiting on the big parts. I put a Forever Sharp steering wheel on it and got rid of the super beat Grant GT. I put my air pressure gauges in the cubbie hole which i though was pretty trick. I scoured the salvage yards in a 60 mile radius trying to find a good set of buckets. I found some great buckets out of a 1992 Blazer which wouldn't you know it bolted right in. These things were pristine. The one pic is of my compressor choice. I have found out of the 3 bagged vehicles i have owned i like Viair. I have had Air Zeneith and Air Maxxx. I have never had a EDC so i can't comment on those.

Just some more random stuff i did. I relocated the battery in a cool tray from billetproof into the bed and made a fuse relay panel that hides under the bed away from the elements. I painted my MTX as close to the matching color as my truck as i could get, and its going with a NVX 12 that will go in a custom center console. I also painted my seat risers for a subtle trick.

Okay so for the front i went with Thorbros bag cups and had to chop those down a 1/2 top and 1/4 bottom. I should have just specified what i wanted them cut to when they were made cause it took 2 weeks to get them anyways. I have airbaggit.com Denominator 2600's in the front on 3/8 line going to Easystreet chrome valves under the cab on frame rail. I pie cut the frame behind the bag to allow the lower control arms to rise up far enough to lay on the 20's. I used ART shock re locators and Thorbros lower shock studs. I also rebuilt the entire steering linkage with MOOG parts. I used Moog upper and lower ball joints. I tried pie cutting the area in front of the bag for the tie rods but found i'm still going to have to notch anyways. Weird but i guess every truck is just a little different.

I took out the factory inner fender well and used trailer fenders. Not the best looking job but you should see the finished result. I used a Blox racing 3x10 coolant overflow tank capable of recirc. for the coolant over flow and its mounted basically where the factory one is.

For the back which i don't have any pictures of yet. I used the Ekstensive 2 link. Yeah hate on it if you want i don't care, my truck and i don't drive like a idiot. I also raised the front gas tank crossmember by a inch and the rear by 1.25. The rear was a mistake, just like the sticky on this forum says if you raise it more than a inch you will run into issues. I did. I now have a removable panel in the bed to get at fuel pump.

My plan is to still try and get the exhaust back out of the roll pan. i loved that look and i want to try and do it even while bagged.

I also did the big 3 plus upgrade for the wiring. i have 1/0 gauge everywhere, and it's all tied into a powermaster 140 amp alternator. I know not big enough for one battery and all the draw i have but hopefully in the future i can upgrade to a second battery and a bigger alternator.

The forum is slow these days. The Chat Thread is just about the most active place on this forum. It's not unusual for your thread to not get comments. I used to get a ton in mine, but not so much anymore.

Good looking truck though. Looking forward to progress
