Top Kick, Kodiak, 3500HD Exterior Door Handle Info, Cheap Handles, and Install

I think they are longer. If I don't install them will my truck not lock?

They're longer as the lock sits higher up on the Topkick handles.

Any way I could make my own? I've been looking for about an hour and nobody seems to have them now, I even called my local salvage and they don't have any topkicks.

I've called around too. I found a place with two of the handle rods that were discontinued but I can't find any with the lock rods. Without them my truck won't lock correct?

I ask because I don't lock my truck that often. If it just doesn't lock till I can find some in the scrap yard then that's fine with me.

Nope, they have a ton of Escalade and Tahoes but not very many trucks. I did manage to find a local guy who has the handles he is selling me really cheap but he already sold all the rods

Would the truck still lock and unlock with a keyless remote if I don't install those rods?
