Flowtech or Summit shorty headers?

mine are ball and socket flange i beleieve and yes i like them, i had to locktite all my header bolts if they back out again ill be going with some stage 8 locking header bolts. thats the only time they leaked when most of the bolts loosened up yanno otherwise yea they fit tight, seal nicely etc.

Is cermaic coated ones worth the extra money or with that finish go bad too overtime?

I would say it's worth it. The paint that comes on them is not high temp paint. I need to paint mine. BUY BETTER GASKETS TOO!

Wonder how good they might be? Rest of my exhaust probably needs overhauling as well, but replacing the manifolds with actual headers was always something I wanted to do to at least one of my trucks. Figure the 5.7 V8 would be the most ideal candidate to date.

For the cost not to me. I had jba headers on a truck I had in the past and they were ceramic coated. All I noticed was they looked different L0L! I'm just going to have the ones I get blasted and use some vht high temp paint or whatever company.

I have read to make sure and use plug wire insulators though.

i dont se insulators on mine but my plug wires are also extremely neat.
