Those are not huge issues for me. I would order it bare and have my own guys finish it. I waited for my wheels 12 weeks and now it's 16 weeks and I am still waiting for my spare, wheel #5 that was damaged en route.

Any issues with build quality or fitment?

Ive heard some people say there welds weren't the best, mine are fine  Fitment was great on mine, it fits the body lines so well!

Have you given your welds a close look? The biggest thing with them I hear is they tend to hide sh!tty welding under silicone caulking.

Since I would order it bare, any weld issues would be obvious. I would have my neighbor look over it before line-x'ing it. He's been a welder for about 15 years, repairing all kinds of CAT equipment.

BadBowtie - can you send me some other photos of your bumper and front end? I tried to PM you but your inbox is full.

Some chrome drop bumper I painted to match my truck. Its like 3/16'' thick and is held on the frame by 6 1/2 thick bolts

You happen to know what year this bumper came stock on the Chevy trucks, I have been searching & can't find it anywhere. I'd like to replace my rounded stock 97' bumper with one if it's a direct swap & I can still use my hitch. I was gonna do a fabbed bumper but one of these with a little reinforcement, d-loops & bedliner would be perfect for what I want.

I followed one of your threads on another forum that showed your progress on these bumpers as you made them and I am impressed with how they look and proportion on your truck. Did you happen to save the cardboard templates? I'd love to have a front bumper similar to that on my 2 door.
