Ok so I recently started having an Interment blower speed issues with the dash blower speed switch.. Sometimes the blower would just turn off and if I wiggled the blower speed switch it would work again. So I pulled the hvac unit to find that the blower speed switch has been replace already.. So I pulled out the good ol volt meter and began to check for power.. And I have power at all times on the black wire and key on power on the brown wire.. Which doesn't match any diagrams I have found ... So due to the super short wires on the two plugs that go into the hvac control I pulled the control unit out and began to check for continuity on the blower speed switch and this is where is gets really interesting ...
Brown wire into blower switch
Switch off position: yellow wire has connection
Switch on low: white wire has connection
Sw on med1: black wire has connection
Sw med2: orange wire has connection
Sw high: smaller gauge dark blue wire
This doesn't match any diagrams I have found yet..
Am I missing something ?
Nothing works on the control unit.
No blower speeds
No blend door
No vent control door
No recirculating light
No rear window defrost light
Only the ac button light will work...
Even the circuit board looks ok no melting no burn marks...
