4L60 Shift Points

I wanted to know if there is anyway for the 4L60 in my 94 to hold first gear longer than 35mph when the selector is in 1. I've asked a few people locally but never got a straight answer.

What RPM are you turning at 35MPH in 1st gear?

just under 4,000, with the shifter in 2 it will bounce off the rev-limiter at over 4,500 around 75mph

its wasted energy since our trucks make peak torque at about 3700 rpms, but you could put a 'vette servo in to firm up your 1-2 shift

its not that the shift isn't hard enough i had a b&m shift improver for a while, but if I'm spining tires in the dirt it hits 35mph and shifts to second and then back to first
