Alright, I'm planning on getting my HID's ordered soon, because it gets dark pretty soon now, and it would be nice to have. Just one question, DDM Tuning is basically the main company I've heard of on this and other truck sites. So I have a few questions:

What's the temperature you have?
How's the quality?
How long have you had them?
Anything else I should know before ordering from them?

Main reason I'm asking is because a friend of mine got his for $80 from someone he knows. THat's just one kit, which is a lot more than DDM, but he says it's high quality stuff that will last forever. I thought most kits out there were the same? :hmm:

Thanks all, I'll be posting pics when I get them put in.

Well right out of the box one of my DDM ballast's didn't work so they sent me a new one, and their power harness has to to be the chaeapest piece of **** I have ever seen, it quit after 2 day's of use, so I cut it apart and rebuilt it with a new quality relay and fuse holder, and also soldered all the connections, now it's good. So I personally don't think their stuff is any better than ebay stuff.

I've had mine on the F150 for about a year now and no problems. Just put them on my 2dr Hoe. Have to put a harness on the Hoe but the Ford has it already. They are not DDM's. . . . . . .

I've ordered 13 kits from DDM for customers in the last year and not a problem yet other than having to flip a plug around. Most my customers get 5k and are happy.

Otherwise my DDM's have been OK. My buddy has a 2006 Chevy and he has had replacement after replacement for his. Not sure what bulb he uses. Mine are 9006.

A friend of mine used a brand called Blazer and he replace 3 ballast in 3 month, then gave up and replaced them with DDM's.

I think, just like with everything else made in the world, you will get people on both side of the fence. Unfortunetly you don't know what kind of results you will have until you buy. It sucks but that's life :nono:

How about Xentec? They are on eBay. Claims that they are waterproof and that the ballasts are tiny. They are about the same price but free shipping. I'm thinking about getting 5K's tomorrow when i get paid.
