Switch is in! Shift interlock doesn’t click like crazy anymore... so hopefully I will get the seat in quick and test it.

Went ahead and shampood the floor while I was in there. Not a true shampoo... more of a deodorizing.

Drove it all around today... didn’t die. I think we have a fix here...:gay:

Automatic transmission, truck randomly dies, in gear, with brake applied, at very low speeds (coming to a stop), fuel pressure is maintained when it dies, idles and runs great, no vacuum leaks, does not die when in neutral or park and the brakes are applied.

Brake light switch!

I am really starting to lean toward the brake switch and the TC. Ever since I pulled the "brake" fuse mentioned back on like the 2nd post of this thread, it hasn't happened! I just took it for a spin and tried everything I could do to get it to stall and it didn't.

What I may do is throw the brake switch in and plug the fuse back in. Then, see if it happens.

There was a hidden code:
P0719 Torque Converter/Brake Switch B Circuit Low
Not sure if this was caused by pulling the fuse, but it didn't come back after I cleared the code (with the fuse still pulled). May have not given it enough time to come back...

Regardless, I have a good feeling about that brake switch. I am going to try it.

My 97 gave the same code with the brake fuse pulled, glad that helped you troubleshoot the issue. Hopefully the issue doesn't show up again
