shift up light

Shift up light stays on in overdrive it just bugs me that it stays on when I'm in overdrive so question at hand is what would cause it to stay on for. Thanks if anyone can help my out or point me in the ryt direction.

I hate the shift light, its totally useless. Have you thought of removing the bulb?

Yes I have but thought if it was some little I would keep it in trying to teach the wife to drive it n the shift light for a beginner is nice to have.

It comes on way to early, if you shift when it illuminates your just gonna lug down the motor

it is actually for best mpgs not power, which is why it lugs so bad
