Hey guys. I blew my radars main capacitor trying this the first time, and now have to repair this. but in the mean time,
My question is then the Blue line going from the HU to the amp, does that signal the amp to power on? if so is it possible to use that blue like ACC or whatever its called to power/ turn on my radar?
Then use the radios ground for the obvious ground?
Any help would be great.

yes, the "remote turn on" wire can be used to power on a radar detector. You can use the radio ground or the chassis to ground the radar detector. I have one hard wired into my truck with front and rear detection and Im pulling it out and throwing it in the trash. I cant stand it.
