Hello all, my name is chris and im here in the sunshine state of florida. First off id like to say this is an awesome site with a lot of useful info.
Now, I just bought a 1997 gmc sierra slt 5.7L that was pretty much bone stock with the exception of some add-a-leafs, bilstein shocks and escort trailer brake system for towing his trailer. The previous owner also installed a decent sound system including 2 kicker L7 12's. I have always owned gm products as my last gm was an 03 silverado lt that could just about touch the clouds (lol, exaggerated a little). Anyways, I have lots of plans for this one as well.
On friday im taking her down to have the old flaking window tint stripped and new stuff put on and on Saturday im having duals installed (out the corners). Then, its time to start raising the old fat girl up, first im installing a 3"bl with a set of 18" rims (haven't decided what yet) and a set of 35's wrapped around the rims (haven't decided that yet either). A little later on down the road ill start working on suspension, but nothing to crazy this time around as I don't want to go over 40's.
