Hard/No start then runs fine
I have been dealing with an issue that turned out to be a seized IAC valve causing it to bog down on decel or at a stoplight. It would bog down only for a few seconds, except at highway speed, then go right back to normal idle. It would almost sound as if it had a lopey cam in it. Since fixing...- zitkada

97 vortec 305 intermittent low power, poor mpg rough idle in park.
I have a 97 c1500 5.0 vortec it has weak acceleration, poor idle, and horrible mpg. Ive replaced a lot on this engine including all ignition except for the distrutor, and upgraded the injectors to mfi. Still feels the same.
