Front diff swap
Idk if this has been talked about before. I have a 1998 Chevy K1500 Z71 Silverado and I wanted to get a set of 3.73 gears for it but for the front diff it would seem simpler to just put a different front diff in. Brakes squishy when driving
On my 1998 k1500 I did pads, rotors, drums, shoes, and rear wheel cylinders and now while driving the pedal feels extra squishy compared to how they normally feel but when parked they feel fine. Seat belt buckle bolts stuck
I’m replacing my bucket seats and center console with a 60/40 bench seat and when trying to remove the seat belt buckles for the new ones the bolts won’t come out and ended up breaking the bit I was using. Is there a trick to getting them out?- 1998 K1500 Bubbles

Belt Squeak is driving me crazy
I have a 1998 Chevy K1500 with the 5.7 and I’ve had this belt squeak for months and can’t get it to go away. I have replaced the alternator(twice), belt (4 times), tensioner and idler(twice), water pump and pulley, and crank pulley.
