    circle d converters

    any one running circle d 298mm converter ? they say they will max stall at 2400-2600 rpm just wondering what yours is stalling at with L31 vortec ? or if you are running a diff stall you like let me know which one ?

    price on new paint job

    ok i got 2 estements on getting my truck painted on shop was 2600 for the same colorand 3100 for a color change . and shop #2 was 5,000 and 5,400 for a color change shop #2 does do bad ass paint jobs but dang lol or am i just being a cheap a** how much should a nice 2 stage paint job...

    what kind of torque converters are you guys running and the stall speed ?

    would a 2600-2800 stall be too much for a stock cammed l31 5.7 i was looking at getting one now cause in about 6 months i was gunna do a zz4 cam with yellow ls6 springs . would this be a good combo ? also i do have a big trans cooler already thanks

    vortec L31 headers

    I want to finish my exhaust . I got true duals from the cats back was noticeing that my stock manifolds look very restrictive and small y pipeing . i heard shortie headers dont give that much improvement on the LS motors but would a set be good on the L31 ? Also most shorties have 1.5 inch...

    scan gauge 2

    so i got a 1996 gmc 1500 z71 with a 5.7 and 4l60e .I bought a scan gauge 2 and was trying to use the xgauge for trans temp but its not pulling up the temp ? Does this truck monitor trans temp by the computer like the newer trucks do? Or am i going to have to install a temp gauge myself ...

    E85 vortec 5.7

    any thoughts on those e85 convertions . from what i understand they add extra fuel so you wont go lean you need like 30% more e85 vs gas alone do you think the stock injecters could handle that kind of out put ? seems like that would push them to the limit. is there any way to change the fuel...

    stock hieght mesurements

    i have a 1996 z71 and i am wondering what is the stock hieght from the hub to the fender i am trying to figure out if the bars have been cranked ? it sets about level to the rear . would a two inch crank be about level ?

    are superchips tunners any good found one for 50bucks i got a 96 350 vortec with exhaust and kn intake would this tunner pick up some power or is there a better one ?

    1996 looking for more power

    i am looking for some more power i have a 5.7 vortec a k&n intake kit , 3 inch flowmaster , and super chips tuner . also 3.73 gears . i was thinking 1.6 rockers ? or maybe dual 2.5 inch flowmasters . what do you guys think ?
