    RCD lift kit

I have a RCD 6" lift on my 1995 Tahoe, bought it like that. Seems to be pretty well built and rides great... I took it wheeling and got in a spot I shouldn't be at hollister hills in the rocks... I tried to bounce the right front tire up a boulder in low range and I broke the steering gear...

1997 GMC Yukon SLE lift kit

Yeah probably a bad ball joint... or two... and/or a wheel bearing. Jack her up and give her a good shake!

    K1500 vs c1500 UCA's

Yeah big tires will do that to the 2wd uppers! It's funny looking through the lifted 2wd thread seeing everyone with bent uppers lol I've done the same.. I'll measure tomorrow and let ya know

    Over riding daytime running lights?

I guess I’m the only one that pulls the grille and headlight housings to change the lightbulbs on these trucks.

    K1500 vs c1500 UCA's

4x4 upper control arms are wayyyy stronger as they are drop forged instead of stamped sheet metal. Not sure if they will fit on a 2wd but I can go measure the ones on my 95 tahoe if it will help.

De-crank torsion bar keys to factory ride height. If you need more ground clearance for cheap, get a body lift. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-7811300/make/chevrolet/model/k2500/year/1998

    Post your lifted 2wd's!

1997 C1500 RC 4" Spindle lift, 285/75/16 on 16x8 4.0" backspace. Minor trimming to front bumper and front fender was needed. Also, I do NOT recommend this lift... It will transform into KaCHOW MOD with new tires and a load in the bed trying to stop...

The overdone question of lifting a 2wd

I had a RC 4" spindle lift on my C1500... brand new 285/75/16 Cooper AT3's on 16x8" 4.0" backspace. I had to trim the inner edge of the front bumper and fender slightly. Looked great, drove great! BUT THEN I had to slam the brakes to avoid a crash with a bed full of dirt bikes and camping...

    The Stupid Lift Questions Thread

What model is your truck? 4x4 2wd 1500 2500 3500? Take a good look under it and see if anything is bent before you go buying new parts for this. I had a 98 K1500 I bought with a 4" Tuff Country lift, and the same everything was worn out (my first truck). Turned out it had death wobble after a...

    The Stupid Lift Questions Thread

It's just gonna look 3" taller... and like it needs bigger tires. What are you trying to gain out of the body lift? Are the tires rubbing as is? Personally I wouldn't do a body lift unless you need more tire clearance and don't want to cut the bumper and fender... you're just going to expose...
