I think you missed the part where I'm moving perches, not chopping mid frame. You either have to move perches or body mounts. I'd rather just move the rear end so I only have to pull the bed and drill new holes. I'm pretty capable of doing all my own work, I just needed some insight on a...- Cree

Well, yes, but there shouldn't be any welding involved from all I've read. Unless I decide to modify the current box. Outside of some rust over the arches, no, nothing wrong with it.
