I think the biggest problem people have is when they mix the two different types of antifreeze together. This is where the problems start. Dex-cool was developed mainly for engines with aluminum components- Dirty Bird

I found the burban in the Boneyard with a gasoline engine that had a pressurised system using Outlet below the cap was not 5/8 in size but will take a picture next time I'm there if they have not crushed it yet...my Benzo was sweating bullets. GM TSB 00-06-02-006 is just one of many TSBs on the subject. I also had a fleet of Astro Vans at one point. They all started doing the same thing after we had switched from Dexcool to the green (Glycol based)- Dirty Bird

Vortec engine/ stock GM intake manifold gaskets are not green antifreeze friendly. It turns them into jelly causing them to leak, sometimes into the cylinders then causing O2 sensors to throw codes. Rough idle, P0300, Help!
Had an Astro van with similar problem. Turned out to be a bad distributor. It was made of ABS plastic and wobbled around a lot after a hundred K or so miles. Also needed intake manifold gaskets because I used regular antifreeze instead of Dex Cool. Regular antifreeze ate through Factory intake...- Dirty Bird

pre-bent brake line ... can't find it from the usual sources

For some reason I thought I read in one of your earlier post that you were able to get it to work by pushing in on the new brake switch? The circuit for the tail light also goes through the directional switch as well as hazard. Unless of course you have a European model that has Amber...- Dirty Bird

Auxiliary fan - purpose.
Hole to the right of the plate is for the spare tire drop/removal unless you have 25 gallon fuel tank with spare mounted inside. Factory exhaust should exit right rear not the back. I have seen models with single 3in or dual 2.5 exiting right rear behind wheel.- Dirty Bird

Unusual brake light problem. Please help
Check the brake light switch trigger Pin (or stud) at the top of the brake pedal just below the pivot pin if it is bent or loose it will cause the whole assembly to move forward and backward and not trigger the brake lamp.- Dirty Bird

94 Blazer Coolant Temperature Fluctuating
Next time you change the thermostat drill a 1/8" hole on either side to let some coolant get to the thermostatic spring on a top side and that will help alleviate the stickiness. Replacing Cat back with Dynomax and broke the 2 cat bolts
Just did mine few days ago broke all three. Tried drilling them out went to several drill bits. Went to Home Depot bought a bottle of MAPP gas and heated it up and popped them out with a punch. Found a 6 stud/6 nut kit at roc auto. Worked perfectly.- Dirty Bird
