I've scanned it many, many times. Back a few pages are logs....if you dare. :)

So.....check voltage drop on the power wire to the CTS?

No, and I am waiting for a little bit more cooperative weather. :)

Raising the idle with the screw raises the IAC number. Lowest I can get is 45 unless I start adjusting the TPS. I tried again. I can get to 40 when the screw is not touching the throttle plate lever. I screw it in and it goes to 35. If I go any further, it goes back to 40. I have the TPS...

Wont go lower. I could do the tps but then I would probably down to .10-.15v Should I be doing this with it unplugged, like I was going to reset it or just go out and do it, which is what I did. Stupid question....how could I tell I was at 15 if I unplugged it. LOL

I cant get the IAC lower than about 60

The temp out side was such that it wouldnt even start unless I unplugged the timing wire. I unplugged EGR, MAP, Charcoal filter, EGR....same problem. When its doing its thing, standing on the bumper, I hear a clicking, as in a spark plug wire grounding out, not as loud though. I sprayed carb...

Temperature isnt doing this [I dont believe]. Its all over in less than 2 mins from cold start. I think its only 1 transition point. I would edit that one fuel table leaner. I dont know though, I'm a carb guy. I'd open the choke sooner. ;) I'm going to add a ground today and try it. I'll...

I have removed and cleaned then 5 times. I did not cut the ends off because everything ohm'd out ok. The ground is not on the thermostat housing. Guess I can replace them for giggles.

I forget now which is which but there is an o2 sensor you don't want to use. Maybe it's the Bosch. Either way, I changed mine and it didn't matter. If I remember right, unplugging this timing light eliminates my problem too.

It all started when I put the new engine in. I've been doing this for 40 years so I am aware of paying attention to details on swaps.

Well, I guarantee you this is cookie cutter parts, nothing great at all. If I could get in an edit the fuel tables I bet that would solve it but I've never been involved in that so I am pretty much clueless.

Another thought; what if this long block was bored .030 over. Would that matter? I don't know that it is but someone asked me today. I would think it would lean out then

    Another TBI running rich

She took the truck from me for a couple days. I did however sneak a quick, cold start log. Still pretty much the same. I did not touch the throttle at all. I went inside while it was logging but it ended up timing out after a bit...

That would be with the IAC fully extended and unplugged? TBI has been rebuilt, including regulator. Again, its only for 45 seconds so I feel that would be a constant issue.

The latest log, the engine was a little warm, 85 or so I think it said. I was rotating the TPS itself.

I'm good with electrical but not GM stuff. Now that you explained that, I'm really good. I'll take a peek inside the dist too. If it was easy enough to run another wire to test, I'd be game for that more that I would be chasing wires. If I get the pinout read, I can probably ohm things out.

There is no tach. I have tried multiple distributors. With that said, if you hadnt read the whole thread, which I dont blame you. This happens like clock work, only for the time period shown. It doesnt happen any other time. Looking at the logs, like you pointed out, the rpms are erratic...

I'll log for a few minutes tomorrow morning. Stock long block. Already talked to builder to see if they did something different, telling him of my woes. He said its all stock. Timing is at 0. TPS is at .28v instead of what it should be. No idea why but it seems to run better this way....go...

OEM manifold, check. 195 tstat, check. The truck was warm for the last log. I'll log it again tomorrow. It did do they same stumble today, in spite of what I did yesterday. CCP? I'll check canister. So I need to get a regulator to lower pressure. No exhaust leaks, no headers. Again...
