1999 C1500 Suburban either hesitating or shifting only in a slight pull going down road seems fine in a harder pull

I have 1999 C1500 Suburban with 5.7 and it is either hesitating or maybe the transmission is "hunting"? I can't really tell because it is pretty subtle but it is enough to be annoying. It only does it when it is in a very slight pull. Taking off or accelerating everything seems to be fine. It...

Will a 5.7 from a 1995 tahoe work in a 1999 suburban?

I have a 1999 Suburban that blew a head gasket and I did not realize what happened in time so unfortunately it will not turn over and the coolant/oil mix started leaking from under it. I have not inspected it close but I am pretty sure a new engine is in order, or a rebuild depending on where...
