The new pump I installed does not come with an EVO and is suppose to be a direct connection. I don't know anything about the importance of the EVO but the guy at my local shop says I need to put the EVO back on.
I had the truck on the lift when I added the new fluids after the pump swap and flush. I turned the wheel from lock to lock with the key on but the truck off till the gurgling went away and then I turned the truck on for about a minute and rechecked the fluid level.
I installed a new lifetime pump from oriellys and it came without an EVO on the new pump. The paper in the box said to tie the wire somewhere up and out of the way. I lowered my truck back down using the keys for the torsion bars and that helped some but it still has some problems steering and I...
Can anyone help me with my problem? I have a 1998 chevy k1500 on 33s and I can't seem to get the wheels to turn. When I cold start my truck the wheels will turn easy but after the fluids warm up the wheels no longer want to turn. I have replaced the pump and flushed the fluids and I've still got...
Just finished today with hauling square bails from the fields to the barn to store. We moved 4 trailer loads with 88 and 1 with 92, so 444 bails all together in two days. Thankfully I have those helper bags in the rear so my truck didn't squat near as bad as it looks in the photo. I'm in the...
What if I ran the same setup as the older gm trucks that had a switch that swapped between the tanks?
So my truck being a short bed would only allow me to fit the 30 gal Tahoe tank? Is the bed being longer behind the axle the reason why the suburban tank won't my short truck?
Has anybody ran dual tanks on these trucks before? I am thinking of getting a burb tank to go where my spare is suppose to go. Anyone done this yet? I'm just tired of filling my truck up every 200 miles.
So what would be the best way to lift the front of my truck to where it's leveled front to back and have great ride quality in the front again?
Also why wouldn't longer shocks or shock extenders work for me?
I have a 1998 Chevy K1500 CCSB that is cranked up about 2" with the torsion bar along with 33" M/Ts. My truck rides way more rough now and I was wondering what I could do to smoothen my ride back out. I'm not very knowledgeable about whether my truck has springs on shocks or coil over shocks in...
I have a 1998 CCSB Chevy. Does anyone know where I can get a defroster kit to go on the back window of my truck or if there was rear windows for these trucks that came stock with a defroster? Also would I be able to add a defroster to mirrors that did not come with a defroster?
I've been told that when you add a bigger tire size that it negates a smaller gear size like my 3.42s. My tires right now are 33s and I'd like some that are bigger so the 4.10s are sounding pretty good to me.
