1998 K1500 5.7l 350 Vortec
I have as said above a 5.7l 350 vortec in a 1998 k1500 and want to make more Hp. So i was thing about a cam but i dont know what to look for. Also what elso could i do to get more Hp besides buying a new engine. Thank you.- OpTic_G1BBY

1998 K1500 Power Boost
Ok so i got to looking a engines specifically a 5.7l 383 vortec and all i can find is carbourated which isn't a huge deal but i much prefer efi because it is a daily driver. That is when i got a call from a friend he has a LS3 that dinos at 400Hp to the wheel and only wants $4000. My question is...- OpTic_G1BBY

LOSS OF POWER! NEED HELP!!! 1998 VORTEC TAHOE
You could have a cracked head same thing happend to my 350 a month or so ago loss in power no acceleration put it to the floor and would hit 60 in around 20-30 seconds but if the head is cracked make sure that the water and the oil isnt mixing like it was in mine it is a formula for disaster.- OpTic_G1BBY

Do you know what a stock 5.3 engines output is and i know this is gonna sound like im asking for engine trouble but how hard/time consumeing is it to put a turbo/super charger on a 5.7l or is it even possible.
