As of the last I heard he was going to pull the trans and replace the pump. Have yet to hear back from him. Either he hasn't gotten to it or it didn't fix the issues. The guy has a small independently owned shop. 26 years experience he say's. There is no way I could have poured 8qts into the converter alone. I put about 80 mile's on it and no change. I took the whole truck out to him, he is trying to say I burned up the pump. I just recently had a shop rebuild a 4l60e for me. I did the R&R, after install and during initial test drive it has a slow 1-2, 2-3 shift under normal accel. Heavy accel is normal.
