I forgot to add the part about disconnecting the iac in my original post lol, a just gave that pdf a quick glance looks like it’s got lots of good info I’ll have the new pigtail by the end of next week and I’ll be able to give it a try and hopefully I get somewhere with it.- Marcus W

Replacing the pigtail is probably a good idea, I went ahead and ordered one aswell and a new iac just to start fresh with it, I do know how far the pintle stick out should be during install but I do know that it can’t be more than 29mm or it will bottom out but I can’t find anything on a...- Marcus W

As for my iac I cannot get the base idle set properly, it’s just a new one that was in the throttle body when I received it, then I swapped it for the almost new one in my old tb, correct me if I’m wrong but the procedure should be Jump A and B Turn key on, wait 30 seconds, unplug iac Start...- Marcus W

I have a 1994 pickup 350 tbi with vortec heads, 650 cfm throttle body, 18 psi of fuel pressure, a chip, and other supporting mods. I thought it was just cheap crap when my brand new Delphi icm failed in 150 kilometres, so I put on the used gm genuine I had before expecting it to solve my issue but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that 2 have just failed lol- Marcus W

I’ve got a pertronix coil, makes sense that a stock icm can’t handle it. I’m going to try and borrow an icm and coil from work today and if that solves it I’ll keep replace the coil and icm with hood quality new stuff. 1994 Chevy pickup 5.7, took the cap off and it still looks brand new aswell as the rotor none ot the contacts fell off, used an ohm meter to check the pickup coil and I swapped coils with another one.
