    As far as "is it tcc lockup/disengage, or a miss?", when it does it the rpms don't waver at all. So I'm assuming it's a miss.

    I literally put the Delphi distributor in today and I made sure it was locked down. Used a distributor wrench and everything.

    But, what reason is there that cheaper plugs will be better? Is it a resistance thing? Is it RF interference with something? I use ngk iridium in an old dodge slant six with a MSD ignition and work great.
