Need Cowl Hood Paint ideas
That hood is sweet! I think it'd look good with the scoop painted silver and the rest black. Then you could put the factory style pinstriping around the base and really tie it all together.- Champ

Anyone in Alberta have a good shop to recommend for a swap?
There's a few of us Albertans kicking around on here! Unfortunately I don't have a shop to recommend, but I may know someone who does. As for the 6.2, never heard of anyone doing that swap, probably because those motors are so new and that makes them a little bit expensive and hard to come by...- Champ

Yup! Vortec heads are a direct swap. They are worlds better than the TBI heads. I would absolutely do a cam if you're going to go that far.- Champ

My 97 will turn over, but it will not start, I took a test light to the fuel pump plug on the frame and got no power when the key is in the on position, or when the truck is cranking.
