Ok just pulled tail light and have power at all 4 pins of the plug coming from harness, so i'm guessing there's no ground there's power jumping to the ground wire?
Hey i have a 94 k1500 none of the rear lights work, blinkers are very dim. I've checked bulbs all look good and new bulb didn't help, couldn't find any bad fuses but maybe i missed one? Any ideas what could cause this? Thanks for any help in advance
I have a 94 ext cab chevy, the cab mount on the body is rusted along with the floor it mounts to on the passenger side back corner. I'm looking for that mount and cant seem to find it anywhere? Does anyone know where i can find it? I could fabricate one but it'd be alot easier to just buy the...
Alright fried this alternator now after 2 hours. Is the wire that goes to the plug supposed to have 12v constant? Im ready to hall this big POS to the scrap yard
New alternators in and charging now, 14ish with nothing on 13-13.5 with all accessories on. Now just neec to strip tbi wiring and get more flexible wire for grounds since it looks like a mess under hood.
Re ran all grounds with 4 gauge, and the power cable to alternator. Still not charging enough but it does drop slightly less when ya flip fans and lights on. Im going to try another new alternator along with a new battery.. Maybe a cell is shorting out in the battery?
Tested battery yesterday and its good, alternator only puts out 12v with no accessories on and drops to 10 with lights and fans on... Corroded wiring maybe?
