will a rear end from an 88 K5 Jimmy work in a 98 Tahoe??

My dad has a Dana 60 rear end from his 88 K5 Jimmy sitting around and I hate seeing it rust away. What would I need to do to get it to bolt up under my 98 Tahoe? My dad ordered the rear end as a direct bolt in for his 88

You would have to move the spring mounts for sure, probs a conversion U-Joint, and im not sure what length it would be, might not work at all.

He had the length of the rear widened so the the rear tires tracked in the same path as the fronts. I'll have to look into it when the warmer weather gets here. It has 4.56s in it
