I have a line on a whipple for 5.7 vortec.
Asking price is $600.00 down from $800.00
I would maybe pay $500.00.
I have a a 1998 K1500 178,000 miles.
What are the thoughts about this?
Should it be sent off for refurb?
Should I install on my original motor or rebuild?
I have not bought it or have major plans to buy it I am just trying to do some due diligence.

They are neat. Easy bolt on 100+hp with lots more low end torque. I have one in a box at the moment.had it on a Tahoe, ran the marine intake with lager injectors as well...
$600 for just the compressor? Or does it come with the necessary accessories?(brackets, pulleys, intake piping, wiring harness, etc)
There were two kinds for our trucks if I'm not mistaken, one had additional fuel injectors that were installed on the intake boot. The other used a fuel pump booster to add the additional fuel.
