ok don't kill me for saying this

since my headliner is falling off and I don't want to pull it off and undo all the trim pieces then glue it back up

my idea is to get a blanket or something and use magnets on the corners to hold it onto the roof covering up the old headliner

Take the magnets off of some old speakers

I didn't read this whole thread so someone might have said it already but, check harbor freight if you just need a cheap magnet.

Why don't you just fix it right. I did my headliner for 35 bucks.

JoAnnes Fabrics has headliner material. 25 bucks
Home Depot 3M spray glue 10 bucks
1 hour of my time to remove headliner and reinstall it. It's really simple to do and your truck won't look like its cobbled together with gum and bailing wire.

For what the magnets are gonna cost you, (& you'll need more than a few to hold up an H/L) Buy 2 yards of H/L fabric ($30.00?) a can of spray glue ($20.00) & in a few hours, you can do it right.
