Alright I wanna know what changed from the 88-93 to the 94-98 style bumper brackets. (Number 8 on the picture.)

Why are the bumper options for 88-98 when the bumper brackets changed in 94?!?

Reason being is, I switched from old to new grille and I'm trying to get the lower grille filler to fit. Problem is, it doesn't fit in between the bumper and the radiator support.

The 2 inner brackets are the ones that changed. They push the bumper out slightly to allow for the later filler panel to fit.

:word: Filler panel on the later style is bigger.

You'd think they would change the outer brackets too to help push it out, but that's just me I guess. Looks like I'm going to the junkyard to get some newer style bumper brackets, then I can eventually get a diesel bumper!!! :waytogo:
