Whats involved in 98 Grille Swap

I have the 1990 style grille, I am looking into upgrading to the 1998 style.

Whats needed?

Can I pull the grille off a 1998 and it mount right up headlights and all?

I believe the headlight harnesses are different and the filler piece above the bumper but not positive.

Headlight's are the same 90 and up, you need this is all for 94 up, grille, corner light's, parking light's, 3 piece grille filler's this consist's of 1 long center filler and 2 fender extensions, and all 4 bumper bracket's. The bumper is actually in a slightly different place on the 94 up than the 88-93. On the 94 up the bumper stick's out more and is a little lower down, and it needs to be changed to make room for the 94 up filler pieces. The bumper is the same though, and so is the valance.

88 and 89 have different headlight's and different wiring, but it can be changed easliy.

Yup, i think ill stick with the 90 style. I just did the HIDs and ordered headlights and corners lights.. Ill have to save that encase something runs in front of me again

You only need the 2 inner bumper brackets.

Interesting, I have always swapped out all 4 bracket's next time I do one I will check that out.

All you have to do swap out the bumper filler, grille and lighting. Bumper brackets are from 88-93 and 94-98 but not when swapping front clips out.
