What is this?

Anyone have any idea what this is. It was laying in my driver's side floorboard this morning. Looks like some kind of actuator. The hole in the flat portion is round but the other one is "D" shaped like it fits a motor shaft.65528[/ATTACH]"]

Dont know what year your truck is but nothing like this at all in my 1993.

Could it be the little catch for the hood lever.

It's a 98. I think it's got something to do with the AC as it will not blow out the vents...just the defrost and floor.
I'll check compnine and see if I can find it.

How are your vents working?

It is a lever for the air flow actuator. The actuator has two of those on it.
