What have you guys payed for a regear?

I've got 285's on my 3.42 gears and the old TBI 350 isnt too happy with me. It goes just fine, but not what it was with 285 tires. I want to add a locker anyways, so why not put 4.10's in it! I will not be even trying to attempt this one myself, so I just want to know roughly what you guys paid so I can start to put the money aside.

I don't know a price, but isn't 4.10s a lil steep?? I have 295s, and 3.73s and couldn't be happier, about 1900rpms at 65... Best combo for fuel mileage I've found

I charge $100-150 plus parts for a 10 bolt open.

Wow, you guys got some deals. The only place local I could find to do it when I wanted to do my '07 classic was the local 4x4 shop and they wanted $7-800 just for the rear axle. That was the install and them getting all the parts too. I think the install was going to be about $300 and the rest was the gears and the install kit.

$60 for 4.56 gears plus $200 to install.

Shop's around here get $900 for a basic regear job.

I need to move out there. I'm cheaper than most but not that much cheaper. $200 is about average around here for anything GM have used in trucks.

When you say $900, are you talking about front and rear including parts?
