went to a car show today and seen this 69 with a gmt 400 step side bed

I like the looks of it because it is something different. You can do this with an s10 too.. you got an 82-93 std cab or ext cab, you can bolt on a newer style s10 stepside bed and it looks just about like it does on these older trucks. Some like it some hate it. If i did have a good 67-72 bed though I would rather have that.

I think I saw my first of those bed swaps about 20 years ago. They used to be a dime a dozen around here.

It looks just as bad in person, promise. The only thing worse is one of those beds on a squarebody...

For it to look remotely like it belongs on that truck, the front and rear wheelwells have to match. Anyone that ever has attempted that swap doesn't seem to grasp that.
