Vortec 350 Dress-Up

Anyone know where I can get chrome valve covers for a 96 Vortec 5.7. I was told that the centerbolt Chrome valve covers that AutoZone stocks will only work on the 87-95 5.7s and won't work for the Vortec motor....

88-95 Valve covers are identical, im using a set on my Vortec heads.

I don't see why not vortecs have centerbolt valve covers too. I'd buy them try them and if they don't fit take them back and say they don't fit.

only thing different MAYBE is that the vortecs have a long spout thing for the oil fill, but the threads right out of the covers and i bet threads right into the TBI ones.
