I'm a sparky and own/use multiple variations of Fluke (mainly because my boss bought them for me...they ARE expensive).
I have a small clamp/multi meter I use for the car. The clamp does upto 200 DC amps....which is very handy for fault finding....if you're trying to find a source of power drain.
