I just disconnect the battery for a couple minutes .Then check codes to be sure

its overheating with the new sensor in it? take thermostat out and do the boiling water trick if the codes dont clear it up. my 85 camaro had the coolant sensor, thermostat and water pump go at the same time. thermostat went the the watepump then the cts from overheating.

It's not overheating anymore. I just needed to put coolant in it.

you need a scan tool. autozone and such only work with obdII stuff and your obdI. maybe a dealer or a local shop has the tool? make a call or two and ask around to see if anyone can clear a stroed code on a obdI computer from a 94 chevy truck.
