Hey guys I'm new here my first post hoping yall can help me out. I have a 1989 gmc k1500 I hit a tree and it got the best of it. Truck has a 3in body lift I thot it just bent the bolts but where they go into the cab is where it's bent the nut inside is twisted I tried putting the bolt in and twisting it back straight but all I did was bent the bolt. Any have a good idea on how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I had an issue with a cab mount doing a body lift for a customer one time and had to use a hole saw from inside. Then welded the caged nut in place then heated it with a torch to remove the bolt.
