97 k3500, 4l80, need replacement engine oil cooler lines, whats best

how about removing cooler lines, remove 90 degree adapter and use a short filter, its a 4wd

Get AC Delco from the interwebs. I put Dormans on my 1500 when I got it back in 2009 and they weep just a smidge. They also didn't come with new o rings, but the AC Delcos did.

Dorman don't seem to last long. They're aluminum instead of steel. It took less than two years to leak just as badly as the one it replaced. I then disconnected the oil cooler.

If I were to reconnect it, I'd probably give Sunsong a shot. Their lines use steel like the originals, but don't cost so much.
