Torsion bar question

okay are the 2500 torsion bars the same as 3500 dually torsion bars.

reason for asking is that i think my driver side torsion bar is sagging and i have to crank it for it to sit level with the passenger side. (still not level side to side). i know where a 88-89 RCD K3500 is sitting at with most of its parts still there.

also are the leaf packs for the 3500 dually the same as the leaf packs for 2500 trucks.

ok thanks. ill deff be looking to get the parts off the dually. its been sitting in the same place for as long as i can remember at the junk yard and almost hidden.

There is a two letter code on the torsion bars that will translate over to a weight rating in ft-lbs.

Great information on the torsion bar weight rating... might have to score a set off a K3500 crew cab long box for my truck, have a set in a crew cab that's basically stripped down to a bare cab and frame. Wonder if the rear crossmember is any beefier to handle the added stress of a heavier bar.
