Something I would recommend is to cut a hole in the rear door speaker grilles just big enough for the tweeter on those componenets. that's what I did with my polks, and it looks a lot better than not having the grille on there. I'll take a picture later so you can get an idea of how it looks.

Here's the head unit.

And the sub, a pioneer 8" shallow mount. Build thread is here => http://www.gmt400.com/forum/showthread.php?5185-Just-picked-up-a-sub

In the doors I have Polk db651's all around. I also have a JBL P80.4 running the door speakers wired in series so they only use 2 channels. The sub is running off the rear output bridged. In the very back, I have some Kenwood KFC-415c to replace the stock 4x10's. It sounds pretty good in my truck, not going to win any shows, but definitely better than stock.

Right now I'm just running a Pioneer head unit with stock speakers. Not sure what I'm going to do next.

Please tell me you have this mounted under the seats or in the rear section of the truck bolted down ...
My apologies ... You do have it under your seats ... Very nice work too ...
I've seen them in the back most of the times, but not under the seats ... How do you like it ??
