Guys,
Wanted to keep everyone updated on a third brake light i purchased that actually worked( Mostly )

This is the brake light that actually came very close to perfectly fitting my 2000 K2500 CCSB. I went though about four others even LMCs LED version. None of them were even close to fitting properly. This one has a rubber gasket on the entire outside. Missing is the nice foam gasket that i felt this actually needed to be waterproof. (BTW make sure you cut the yellow wire otherwise the light is always on even with the light switch off.)
Here is the gasket i found at my local home depot that i cut and made fir onto the back of the light. I feel very confident that it will not leak after seeing how much this compresses.

Last thing i did was place a very small bead of silicone around the inside edge of the srews to make sure those were sealed as well. Will update sometime later to give an update. But this seems like a great option to me!
