Has anyone had tall valve cover clearance issues with the 89c1500 brackets? I have a complete vortec build with a carb that I completed. Currently have vbelts (74c10) and was able to get a serpentine setup from a 89 c1500. Making sure tall center bolt valve covers won't be an issue for ac or any other accessories.

Thanks

I put on tall deck valve covers, The bracket on the alternator that goes down to the exhaust manifold was in the way of the flange of the valve cover and the bolt for it was in the way

I cut off the bracket and removed the bolt, driver side fit.

I don't have a/c anymore, but the top of the valve cover is a tad higher than the bolts for the a/c compressor.

Does anyone have experience with ways, tools, parts, to reroute the AC and heater hoses so that the taller valve covers can be used? I have a 383 Stroker in my 1993 Chevy OBS that I would like to install these valve covers on. I need to move the heater hose connection and the AC hose. Maybe there are parts from a different model or year that would work?
