Tail Light issues

This seems to happen a lot to these gmt400, owners cobbling together stuff and things just get fuvked. ahhhh I'll fix it all someday.

Well, the cargo lamp I found the PO unplugged it so I tried plugging it back in and it started smoking so thats just left unplugged. Only one of the courtesy lights is working right now but hasnt always.

That's a new one.....something somewhere is sending way excess voltage to it. Maybe the fuse is way to high of amps for that circuit???

Does the courtesy light come on when you open the door? Or only when you hit the switch?
